Small, Medium-sized High-Resolution Panels Based on TAOS and AAS Technologies
Smartphones and tablet PCs, the driving force behind the demand for small- and medium-sized panels, require high image quality, ultra compact design, and low power consumption. CMI’s 9.7-inch and 330-ppi ultra high resolution displays, using TAOS (Transparent Amorphous Oxide Semiconductors) and AAS (Azimuthal Anchoring Switch) technologies, meet these requirements by offering higher resolution and refined image quality, delivering a plsasure viewing experience with any content.

Dual-panel Display with Touch Screen Functionality for Ultrabooks and Tablet PCs
CMI has developed 11.6 inch dual-panel displays with touch screen functionality. The combination of two AAS FHD panels, one on which includes a WIS (Window Integrated Sensor) touch screen module, is ideal for both Ultrabooks and tablet PCs. The display can be used as a laptop PC or separately as a tablet PC. The front and back sides of the display can be activated at the same time, allowing two users to perform different tasks on the display with flexibility.

Colored Displays with Higher Resolutions for Medical Purposes
For medical applications, CMI has developed more advanced displays featuring a large 27.8-inch panel, color format, and higher resolution. Apart from providing more detailed images, the displays also address medical staff’s needs for performing multi-screen tasks. With one single display, medical staff can analyze medical data and proceed with other tasks on the single large display.

Green Power with Enhanced Performance

3D LED TV Panels with Narrower Bezel
CMI has developed large-scale 3D LED TV displays boasting higher power efficiency and narrower bezel, available in 39, 50, and 65 inches. CMI has overcome the technological bottlenecks for large panels by producing narrower bezels of 6mm and 7.5mm (65-inch). In addition, the stylish, modern design of the display not only reinforces CMI’s competitiveness, but also provides customers with more value. The integration of SG (Shutter Glass) 3D TV technologies is a breakthrough in 2D to 3D conversion software control, ensuring high image fidelity when switching between 2D and 3D. With 3D games, CMI turns the home into a pleasure entertainment and TV-viewing environment.

USB-powered Desktop LCD Monitors with Minimalist Design
CMI’s 23.6- and 27-inch USB desktop LCD panels feature an ultra-slim design and stand out from other counterparts in that they replace traditional power cables, power adapters, and audiovisual cables with only one USB cable for power supply. The compact design not only reduces power consumption and carbon emission, but also enhances the value of next-generation desktop LCD displays and minimalist style.

Self-developed LED Light Guide Plate Reduces LEDs by 75%
Using its new light guide plate developed in-house, CMI has developed an 18.5-inch corner-light monitor panel. The new LED light guide plate enhances light-incidence efficiency, reducing the number of LEDs by 75%. No additional heat dissipation components are required. The innovation effectively reduces the costs of light sources and power consumption, and thus provides more marketing competitiveness.

Notebook PC LCD Panel with Power Efficiency
In line with eco-friendly design trends, CMI has developed the 13.3-inch notebook PC LCD panel boasting outstanding power efficiency. By integrating low threshold voltage liquid crystal and highly-efficient backlight technologies, the panel can reduce notebook PC power consumption and thus extend battery runtime. This panel consumes less than half as much power as other panels of the same kind, delivering an energy-saving advantage to current LCD notebook panel in the market.
